The 5 Target Points

In our workshops we teach ladies about the 5 target points to focus on striking if you are attacked. Below are the 5 points and a brief description on how we can best attack them.

Target Point #1: The Toes
Whether you are attacked from behind or front facing if the have a lose grip on you,the toes are the perfect body part to stomp on with your heal in order to get away.

Target Point #2: The Testicles
A knee to the groin will hurt any man and in that moment of pain you have a split second to escape.

Target Point #3: The Throat/Adams Apple
We use a middle finger knuckle punch to the Adams apple to disable our attacker. This strike if done correctly can surely insure your attacker and while they are trying to catch their breathe you can get away.

Target Point #4: The Nose
We use an open palm and drive it upwards into the nose when trying to strike for the nose. Very often this will force your attacker backwards and cause their eyes to water and give you your chance to run.

Target Point #5: The Eyes
Not something that people think of too often however when your attacker has you close or for example in this picture around the throat, getting rid of their sense of sight by pushing your thumbs into their eyeballs works wonders. You can get away before they even gain vision again.
